Welcome to the Hampshire area of the British Driving Society.

The British Driving Society (BDS) was formed in 1957 and is the National organisation for a range of carriage driving activities. The aim of our society is to support and encourage anyone interested in carriage driving.

In Hampshire we hold many events - spider drives, interval drives, treasure hunts, etc, along with lots of different socials - talks, musical bingo, dinners, bowling, etc. We also have our annual area show and summer camp.

On this website you can find information on the events we have got planned and past events held, training days, contact information for your Area Commissioner, Assistant Area Commissioners and Support Officers, Rights of Way information, Awards, etc.

If you are a new member and want to get involved with the area please do speak to our AC Sam Searle on 07883 538591 or ssearle1@tiscali.co.uk
